Bird Disco LP

Art object LP,  2023.

 A-side contains Pasi Autio´s Bird Disco music and B-side contains versions made by Tuomo Väänänen.

Bird Disco music was originally produced for the Lintudisco (Bird Disco) performance at the Helsinki Biennial 2021. Concerned by reports of a drastic decline in the worldwide bird population Pasi Autio was inspired to create Bird Disco performance in which he has synthesized natural birdsong in to rhytmic, minimalist, psychedelic dance music, while dancer-choreographer Saku Koistinen has created the choreography. In the performance Saku dances in front of the audience who can join in the dance by following Saku´s movements, or with their own style
